So this past weekend was Thanksgiving weekend. Paul and I were given the honor of hosting at our new home. My parents, his 2 neices and our dear friend, Heather all came over for eats and great company. The dinner took a bit longer than planned to get on the table (i'm still new to this whole "cooking" thing), but we had a blast with everyone while they were patiently waiting. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take any pictures... :(
The rest of the weekend was pretty boring. Paul and I came down with the horrible 24-hour flu on friday night and pretty much didn't sleep until saturday...all day. Thankful we are all better now and hopefully that is all for sickness in this house for the year.
I'm so excited for Christmas now. We had our tree delivered on Sunday and were able to decorate it in Dallas Cowboys colors (I know, I'm pathetic).
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends...I know we did and I am so very thankful for all that God had given me and my family. Now onto Christmas!
